Principal's Message

Dear Mesa Verde Middle School Community,

Mesa Verde Middle School continues to build a proud tradition of providing exemplary middle level education designed to meet the academic, creative, and social emotional needs of each student. The diverse student body benefits from a challenging curriculum, individualized attention, and a variety of exploratory and extracurricular activities. We exemplify our “core values” that embody what it means to be P-ositive, U-nited, M-indful,A-cademic, and S-chool-Spirited in all of our actions to continuously improve and grow as a community of learners.

We maximize achievement for every student within a positive and safe learning environment. The dedicated staff provides rich experiences using a multitude of resources to individualize instruction and learning. Teachers actively participate in ongoing professional development in order to further promote student achievement. Students are supported through high level, engaging instruction designed to meet the needs of all learners as they meet and exceed our State Standards and curriculum expectations.

At Mesa Verde, we believe in a middle school philosophy that embraces the development of the whole child. Students are exposed to a variety of exploratory and elective classes. Each student has access to curriculum enrichment opportunities, intramural athletics, and a variety of clubs and activities. These offerings allow students to explore and develop their interests and passions as they grow through their middle school years.

Effective communication and a strong alliance with our parents are priorities at Mesa Verde. We value and depend on a strong partnership between home and school to promote continued success for all students. Multiple communication methods keep parents informed about progress at school. Our active and involved parent community participates in overall school improvement efforts and enrich our programming through many volunteer opportunities.
